About

Hi, my name is Sue.

I’ve been intrigued by nostalgia and old pictures for as long as I can remember.  I once went to a garage sale and bought a crate of old pictures for $5.  My father couldn’t understand why I would want to have someone else’s family pictures.  I spent hours looking over the pictures piecing together a family tree other than my own.  I have many old photos hanging around my house of people that I have no connection with me other than being just a great picture.

My love of nostalgia prompted me to open a gift store in 1995 called Victorian Romance & Elegance, which I owned for seven years.  In the following year after I opened the store, while attending a trade show, I was introduced to Personal Stamp Exchange.  I learned a little about stamping, brought stamping into my store, and the rest you can say was history.

I love paper crafting, altered arts and scrapbooking.  I call myself a Scrap Backwards kind of person.  I have a passion for beautiful paper and find that I usually pick my photos to go with the paper instead of the reverse.  I don’t mind, it keeps me on my toes and makes me dig a little deeper into those old photos.

Although most of the work I do for companies have a clean and simple look, I do have a wild side that loves to embellish.

Be Creative and Have a Great Day!

Sue
