bugs and fairies
I’m not a prissy girl. So, when Mc Gill asked me to make a fairy out of the new Dragonfly punch (due out this spring), I resisted. Matter of fact, I did not want to do it. It was the very last sample that I made for the new releases. While pacing around, I came up with an image in my head, and made up this sample in just a few minutes. It’s actually one of my new favorites. Who knew I had a prissy side.
Now on to the bugs. Last night it became official. My youngest son and I both decided to be sick. Both of us running close to 100 fever. So, after some cold medicine and vegging in front of the t.v. I decided to finally go to bed. While in my bed room, I noticed a odd looking bug on my curtains. This bug was nothing like anything I’d seen before. The two attena’s were wierd, I softly blew on them and it moved. Since my bug killing husband was not home, I decided to kill this bug on my own. I grabbed a tissue, snuck up on the critter and attacked. Of course, like anyone, I had to make sure it was dead. But, to my surprize, when I opened the tissue, I realized, I had just killed a fuzzy. Poor little fuzzy. (Now, how’d it get up there?) I’ll just blame it on the fever.
Feeling much better today, the sun’s out, the house is warm and my hubby’s coming home tonight. I think I’ll just stay in today.
Sue
